Grand Opening.at Casa LTG* in Escazu The Little Theatre Group of Costa Rica

64 years young, The Little Theatre Group of Costa Rica (LTG)  is the oldest continuously running English-language amateur theatre in Central and South America opens in Escazu again!!!!

Grand Opening.

Coffee & Postres.  Come by to check out the new headquarters, enjoy coffee & nibbles.  Ask questions, make suggestions, enjoy the ambiance of the space, etc..   Aug 29th 9:00am - 11:30am

Cabaret.  An evening of mixed entertainment – music, light-hearted drama.  Light snacks provided, drinks available.  Limited seating, so Reservations are a ‘must’.   Aug 29th  Doors open 7:00pm, Performance 8:00pm.

Brunchtime Theatre.  Bocas, coffee, tea (or something stronger), a visit from Emily Dickinson, and more.  Please let us know if you are coming (for catering purposes.)   Aug. 30th   Doors open 11:00am, Performance noon.

300m West of Plaza Rolex on Calle Rolex. Bear Left at Koala School, and go 50m. Black Gate on Left.  (For those who remember Café des Artistas, we are just a  little further along the road from there.  For those who remember Sat Yoga - That's where we are!!)

From San Jose:-  Take the Pista Del Sol, and exit at the Escazu Exit.  Go straight through 2 sets of traffic lights, and get in the Left lane.  Just past Rosti  Pollo (which is on your right) take the next LEFT (careful turning across the traffic coming up the hill) onto Calle Rolex.  Follow the directions above.

From La Paco:-  Head towards San Jose on the Calle Vieja.  Bear Left at the Scotiabank Corner and get in the Right lane.  About half way up the hill, turn RIGHT at Plaza Rolex onto Calle Rolex, and follow the directions above.

OF COURSE, this is Costa Rica, and Plaza Rolex is now called Plaza Rosa, Scotiabank is no longer in the building on the corner, Café des Artistas is, for the moment, now called Mad Fish, and Sat Yoga is now Casa LTG!!!

Música, folklore y arte con epicentro en Escazú, del 29 de Noviembre al 7 de Diciembre // Music, art and folklore centered in Escazú, from 29 of November to December 7

En el marco del 166 aniversario del cantón de Escazú se celebrará - del 29 de noviembre al 7 de diciembre del 2014-, en el Parque Central de Escazu, el Festival Internacional Folklórico Escazú 2014,  

En el encuentro de artistas escazuceños, nacionales  e internacionales,  tres países  estaran representados en este Festival, por  Guatemala: la *Marimba Orquesta del Municipio de Quetzaltenango (Xelajú). Guatemala. Por Nicaragua el *Ballet Folklórico Nicaraguense Tepenahualt, y por  Perú la *Rondalla del Municipio del Piura, con una trayectoria de más de 100 años en la interpretación de la música peruana.

Picadillo de Chicasquil más grande de la historia sera servido el  Domingo 28 de Setiembre  en el Cantón de Escazú

Estimados vecinos y vecinas, que este Domingo 28 de Setiembre a las 11 am, en el Parque de Escazu Centro, los habitantes del Cantón de Escazú vamos a romper nuestro propio récord haciendo el picadillo de chicasquil mas grande de todo Costa Rica para 3.500 personas.
